Originating from the Management 3.0 context, they make intrinsic motivation tangible and easier to discuss. The cards can be used for individual reflection, coaching, leadership development, team workshops, agile retrospectives, change management and organizational development.
The cards are based on ten key motivators that can influence how people experience work: Curiosity, Honor, Acceptance, Mastery, Power, Freedom, Relatedness, Order, Goal and Status. By sorting, prioritizing and discussing the cards, people gain a clearer understanding of what matters to them, what gives them energy and which changes may strengthen or weaken their motivation.
CALADE sells the Moving Motivators Cards deliberately as a 2-set bundle. This allows two people to work with the cards in parallel, place their motivators side by side and compare their perspectives directly. This is especially useful in coaching sessions, peer conversations, employee dialogues, leadership development, team settings and change reflection.
