SAFe® Product Owner / Product Manager – Deliver Value in the ART

The SAFe® Product Owner / Product Manager training is designed for Product Owners, Product Managers and product-related roles who want to move beyond managing requirements and start driving real value in a scaled agile environment.

You will learn how Product Owners and Product Managers collaborate effectively within the Agile Release Train, how to structure and maintain high-quality backlogs, and how to translate strategic intent into actionable features and user stories. The focus is not on theory, but on how product work becomes clearer, more aligned and more effective in day-to-day practice.

The training covers key topics such as customer centricity, prioritization, program backlog management, PI Planning and PI Objectives. You will gain a practical understanding of how to prepare backlogs, align stakeholders and improve decision-making across teams.

In addition, you will strengthen your role as a Product Owner or Product Manager: how to balance business needs and team capacity, how to create transparency and how to ensure that product decisions consistently drive customer value.

The result: You gain clarity, practical tools and confidence to manage backlogs, set priorities and improve collaboration in your ART – not just understand SAFe®, but apply it effectively.

Participants receive access to the official exam and learning materials via the SAFe Community Platform. The exam is web-based, conducted in English and typically includes 45 questions within a defined time limit.

The first exam attempt is included if taken within 30 days after the training.
